THE SPOOKY SEASON has arrived at @cozy_collective_mke 🐑🎃👻🦇 October is Wool Month!! 🐑🍁 Last week’s high winds finally brought in summers worth of algae bloom, drenching our local beaches & shores. A bit later in the season, but such a mess nonetheless!! Did Ewe know that last year Wisconsin hit a record number for the highest level of nitrates found in our waters, blaming heavy storms washing away livestock waste & fertilizer faster that it can be absorbed. And, no…you can’t filter it out. It’s beautiful blue green color creates the illusion of “tropical waters” with the brilliant & beautiful streaks of blue and green, but are actually a huge contradiction in our Great Lakes. Going gaga for this fall foliage bouquet from Susie at @green.door.gardens …I mean have you ever seen such beauty???!!!!! 😍🍁💐🩷 Fall Y’all! 🍁🍎 As kids we crafted our little hearts out to prepare to celebrate the season. I’ve always loved Autumn and get obsessed with all things Fall! 🍂🍄‍🟫Happy Equinox to Ewe!! 🐑🍁 Time for boots & soups! Your favorite scarfs & all things Woolly!! #happyequinox #fallvibes Woolly excited to share that I’ll be participating in the first Green 💚 @thecraftyfair featuring Ecofriendly, Sustainable & Earth Conscious gifts. I’ll be bringing an array of Woollys, including my beer sleeves & best selling reusable tempered glass Woolly Travel Cups!! Plus I’ll have a variety of collectible wool ornaments and second chance glassware for all your gifting needs. Wool HAUL!! I tried to stick to the Woolet this year at WSWF, but my creativity got the best of me once again and I walked away with a few more radiant UV Rovings!! Ember was a big hit when it dropped last Fall & still available made to order. I know lots in the Flock takes their Woollys to shows & festivals, so I’m stoked for all the fun I can create. Now….Who’s got a blacklight??? 🔦 I debuted these recycled, blue-glass Woolly Travel Cups last weekend at @saucedmarket ⭐️ and they’ll be just one of the NEW offerings you’ll be able to find at my in-person events in Fall. This colorway is from an ombré, artist dyed roving, I call California Magic and yes, it really makes magic everytime! Loading up every weekend for the next month to bring you Woollys for Fall! 🍁🍂

My work combines the ancient medium of felting with contemporary form and modern color, by seamlessly encasing a variety of glassware and beverage items with a one of a kind, insulating Woolly sleeve. Each item is individually hand-formed, from local, ethically sourced wool. The movement and fluidity of working in the round allows for colors to dance and weave together creating organic contrasting patterns on every piece.
